During the GITEX Global 2025 conference, Dubai Health highlighted its strategic collaboration with Virufy, a pioneering AI-powered smartphone application for the rapid prescreening of infectious respiratory diseases through cough-sound analysis. The project was showcased as a key part of Dubai Health’s commitment to adopting novel, data-driven tools that promote more accessible and intelligent healthcare.

Developed in partnership with Dubai Future Solutions, the Virufy app is currently undergoing a clinical research study to validate its AI algorithm’s accuracy and reliability within the local UAE context.
